The TC-6 is a Wrangler JK Tire Carrier that extends from the bumper (RS-10 & RS-11) to the Jeep's rear tailgate. The tire carrier opens along with the tailgate in 1 step, rather than the 2-step process of opening a standard swing-away tire carrier. This carrier is designed to bolt onto your existing RS-10 or RS-11 bumper, so that if you are on a budget you can purchase the bumper and then the tire carrier when ready. It is precision CNC laser cut with a multitude of mounting points so that you can get creative with your hi-lift jack, gas & water cans, or whatever else you like to bring with you. After being laser cut, the pieces are sent to be expertly welded, and then finished with a black powder coat. The final product is a solid tire carrier that can handle the load of any Jeep adventure.

Key Features:

  • Latches to tailgate
  • Black powder coat finish
  • Bolts onto RS-10/RS-11 bumpers
  • Simple installation

**This tire carrier attaches to the RS-10 Rear Bumper and the RS-11 Rear Bumper (Discontinued)**

**Will not work with OEM wheel due to wheel offset

The 35" Slide

I've had this tire carrier for 5 years. I've had a 35" mud terrain tire on it the entire time. My experience is spot on with the other review stating it requires constant tightening to keep it from not just squeeking, but potentially falling off all together. The problem is the outer mounding bracket. The part that attaches to the tire. It has a couple inches glide space allowing it to be adjusted . I had to tighten it down so man times that metal fatigue lead to it cracking and spliting. Anything smaller than a 35" mud tire will is probably a safe bet, but I wouldnt recommend anything larger than 33" unless you enjoy tightening things down every couple weeks. I will post a pic of the failure. A few years ago I called to order the part. The customer service excellent and the part was available. It took the part a few years to fail but the consequences if it does is why i give it 3 of 5 stars..

Hey there,
We'd love to get a little bit more information on what exact bracket you're referring to, so we can help you out! Feel free to send me any photos you have to my email [email protected]

Customer service

I need to write a new review as an update to the first one I wrote. After some emails back and forth I had Guy Bias get back to me and he was able to find the part I needed. So there's actually somebody there that cares about providing great customer service. Once again his name is Guy Bias. Ask for him if you need something. Thanks again Guy!

Customer service

I have had this tire carrier for about 4 years and other than it needing adjustment frequently to stop it from being noisy it's been pretty good. The other day I noticed that the rubber dust cap was missing. I sent DV8 an email inquiring about getting a replacement. 2 days later I got a one sentence reply basically telling me the dust cap isn't available. So be forwarned that if you buy this you are SOL if you need a replacement part.

Very nice mount

Very nice mount, works well. Mine is 5 years old and holding up well. I did have to replace a rubber dust cap that went walkabout, and someone used the wrong lug nuts on the lug bolts so I had to get a replacement. I found that a small piece of rubber hose fixed a small squeak. I would not hesitate to purchase this again.
