The footrest is adjustable with slotted bolts, so you can find that perfect angle for comfort. The pedal is manufactured from steel and then finished in a micro-texture black powder coat. Installation is done easily with simple tools and requires no modifications to your Jeep.

This dead pedal is so over-engineered it's not even funny... its made with heavy gauge steel with a nice black powder coated finish and matching black hardware. I had no idea how overbuilt this product is until I opened up the packaging (that was overbuilt too!). Everything within the box was well wrapped, and while that likely wasn't necessary it shows the build philosophy with DV8 products -- build it right and build it once. Only took 20min or so to install and it's beyond rock-solid. This dead pedal will without a doubt outlive my Gladiator. Great work here DV8! Can't wait to install the front and rear door pocket Molle panels!!

Dead pedal does not fit 2024 Jeep wrangler 4xe

Just received the pedal today (2-29-24). The mounting plate clearly will not fit my Jeep. Only one of the bolts is present on the body of vehicle. In the location where the second bolt should be, is only a flat area of plastic. This is unfortunate as the pedal looks to be very sturdy.

Hello Eric, As noted on our product page the Jeep JL/JT Adjustable Dead Pedal is not compatible with 4XE models.
