Loose screws

But another set to replace the original in which the screws were falling out. Went through and added block tight red loctite loctite to all the fasteners that are permanent. Also replaced with stainless steel fasteners as my first set rusted in 2 years. Absolutely love the design but the quality could be better.

Super stout bar. So-so mounts...

I got a this for my 2013 JK. Let me first state that it look great, but the mounts could be better.

First, the picatinny bar is super stout, no complaints here, you could use it as a jack handle on a high-lift (just kidding, but it is strong). But, the brackets for mounting to the A-pillars leave a bit to be desired.

Honestly, they are not up to the task of holding a light bar in an off-road environment. Especially mine, a KC Gravity Pro6. Not enough metal thickness where the mounts clamp onto the bar's picatinny. The other day, my carwash forgot to turn off the top roller and it ripped the light bar right off the mounts. The picatinny clamp mounts failed right in the thin section of the "V". Granted, it may have been good to have a failure point there, but, as stout is the rest is, I think it could have handled it. That said, I questioned the integrity of the mounts before that event; if the engineering was really up to the task of holding the bar long term on washboard roads, over bumps, etc.

Unfortunately, DV8 does not sell the mounts separately, so I have to purchase a whole new bar just to get the replacement mounts. And I will definitely need to reinforce them once I get them.

Overall, I am happy with the bar, but engineering should stouten the mounts up a bit.
