DV8 Offroad’s Slim vs. Standard Door Pocket Molle Panels

You’re not the first and definitely won’t be the last person to curse the weak netted pockets that come stock on Jeeps and Broncos. All it takes is one water bottle to cause the net to sag and get caught between your door frame every time you enter or exit your vehicle. Here at DV8 we decided that these troublesome nets have to go which is why we got to work designing the perfect replacement: Door Pocket Molle Panels.

Instead of saggy nylon netting, our pockets are fabricated from sturdy steel panels for a rigid design that is built to handle the added weight of bottles, cans, tablets, tools, and other daily gear. The molle pattern provides mounting points for securing multi-tools, knife sheaths, radios, storage pouches, med kits, flashlights, and so much more for quick access to your necessary supplies. For a sleek styling that accents your rig’s interior, the pockets are finished in a resilient micro-texture black powder coat. Standard Door Pocket Molle Panels:

Our standard pairs of front and rear door pockets feature a front panel protrusion that is designed to hold water bottles and other larger accessories. This version is perfect for back seat passengers who need a reliable place to hold their drinks and valuables. Even the driver and front seat passenger benefit from the extra storage room, but for certain vehicles like the Jeep JK that have limited legroom, these pockets can sometimes be too wide, edging in on the driver's already cramped space. For this reason, we created a narrower version for those who prefer not to sacrifice their needed legroom.

Slim Door Pocket Molle Panels:

Void of the front panel protrusion, these re-engineered pockets provide adequate storage and mounting space for daily accessories without impeding on your legroom. We recommend this version for Jeep JK owners due to the vehicle’s narrower seating arrangements. However, you can also secure a pair for your Jeep JL or JT if you would rather sport a slimmer pocket without the water bottle holder. Between our standard and slim pockets, you can outfit the front and back seats of your rig with the versions that are perfect for your lifestyle.
