Which Jeep Wrangler Parts are Compatible with the Gladiator?
The Jeep Wrangler JL and the Gladiator JT have some distinct differences in the rear, but from the front they both look like a Wrangler. When looking at modifying your Jeep JT, you may wonder which aftermarket Jeep Wrangler parts are compatible with your Gladiator. We cover all of the similarities and differences in compatibility between the Jeep JL & JT to help you find what you need.
On the front end of each model, parts compatibility is identical. Front Bumpers, headlights, grilles, front suspension, hoods, and light brackets can all be installed on either the Jeep JL or JT. Front fender flares and liners are compatible on both, but rear fender flares and liners are not compatible. We sell dedicated front and rear sets for each model because of this. The roof on both models is the same, so any roof rack or accessory will work between the two. Many other front-end accessories like hood hold downs are compatible with both, as are any suspension upgrades. However, each rear suspension is different as the Gladiator was designed to carry a heavier payload in it's bed.
The door frames on a Wrangler and Gladiator are the same, so half doors and rock doors are compatible between the two. Other door mounted accessories like our hinge mounted steps are compatible as well. Despite this being case for the doors, rock sliders and rock skins are not compatible. The mounting points at the rear of the body are different on each.
