Bronco Production Has Been Slowed, Again... by a Chip Shortage

The Ford plant in Wayne, Michigan had their production of the new Bronco halted by another global semiconductor shortage. This has also affected production of the F-150. To make matters worse, flooding across Michigan has also slowed down operations at the plant. Ford will close it's factory for the weeks of July 5th, and July 25th. This will push 2 weeks worth of orders further out from their previously stated build dates.

Bronco Delivered

In other news, the first Bronco was delivered this week to Damarius Halty of Mount Clemens, Michigan according to Macomb Daily. He purchased the 4-Door Big Bend trim in Charcoal Gray. Apparently there are others who have started to receive theirs as well. Quite a few Ford Dealerships have been posting pictures on social media of Broncos that have arrived this week. So pretty soon, we'll start seeing them on the road!
