2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler JL | Spec Series Tube Fenders

Our Spec Series Tube Fenders look great on our 2018 Jeep JL Rubicon with a 2.5" lift and 35" tires. No issues with fitment or tires rubbing. Only giving 4 stars because both of the LED lights have stopped working. The passenger side first, which was covered under warranty but now I have to replace the driver side as well. Even so, customer service is always top notch at DV8.

I really liked the look of these fenders and they are very solidly built. They look great installed on my Jeep. My issue with these fenders is that I have less clearance off-roading during articulation than my factory fenders. My front tires are hitting the metal below the light on the front fenders at full articulation. I am running the Mopar 2” lift kit with 35” tires and I didn’t expect this issue. I never had rubbing with factory fenders and I feel the design of the light being so low on the front fender is poor. This is very disappointing because I don’t want to modify my suspension to reduce articulation. I may have been better off with the slim fenders or staying with the factory fenders.

I have run through a couple of different options with the fender flairs. I obviously started out stock and quickly moved to a fender delete. Where I liked the delete I wasn’t fond of getting hit in the knuckles with rocks kicked up from the tires when I had my hand out of the window.
I tripped across the DV8 fender flairs while surfing online and figure I’d give them a try.
So far I like them, I get a high profile, they look good and are solidly made. My only complaint is that when installing them you need an extremely low profile alan wrench an be prepared to bust a couple of knuckles because the bolts are as deep as the interior part of the flair, and you’re going to have to make a 100 little bite sized turns to tighten them up and if you round one out good luck backing it out.

I give them 5 stars on looks, and a 3 star on the install process.

After getting my fenders the first set came damaged. DV8 stepped up and got me another set quickly. These fenders are amazing. Fit was spot on. This company is superb.

DV8 means it when they say they want their customer to be satisfied. Packaging is beyond anything I have ever seen, styrofoam cubes surrounded by spray foam around plastic wrap surrounding fenders individually wrapped in heavy rubber sheeting held in place by more plastic wrap. My Rubi has an issue requiring dealer attention, will install these when that has passed. For now, the nicest looking tube fenders I have ever seen wait patiently in the garage. My experience with DV8 gives me every reason to believe they will be terrific installed! Will update then of possible.
