2018-2025 Jeep Gladiator JT & Wrangler JL Roof Rack

I installed the rack about a week ago. It took me two hours by myself. This rack allows you to remove the freedom panels on an unlimited if you install it at the very back of the hard top. It looks good and it’s easily removable. So far, so good. It feels solid.

Overall extremely pleased with the DV8 RRJL-02 Roof Rack for my Gladiator Rubicon. I fully recommend it as my top choice for a Gladiator roof rack. I think it's the best looking of all the available roof racks for the JT, while remaining very functional. It was shipped promptly, very well packaged, all parts are perfectly machined and finished, and all hardware is included. The thick steel plate construction is very strong. Instructions are very comprehensive and are right here on their web site. Depending on how fast or slow you are with these things, it might take a few hours to assemble, I wouldn't guarantee the whole job in 1 hour. The only part you actually need two people for is lifting the assembled rack onto the roof; I did it by myself but two people would have been much easier. The assembly hardware is good quality but the bolts are pretty small (10mm wrench and H4 hex tool bolt). Considering the kind of usage the rack might get and the load capacity of 200 lbs, I felt it was necessary to use thread locking compound on all the bolts. Only do this after you have fully adjusted the position of everything, because the bolts need to be a bit loose for the final adjustment on the vehicle. I'm more comfortable knowing that those bolts absolutely will not loosen over time, using the thread locker.

Rack looks really nice on my two door wrangler JL. Assembly was a bit tricky with fat fingers but nothing anyone couldn’t finish. Install was much easier and did it by myself in 15 minutes. Overall this rack it’s a good product with a great finish and shipped super well packaged! Only thing is directions did not come in package so I had to find them on the dv8 site. We will see how it holds up!
