All DV8 tops provide a 2-piece design, so the part over the front driver and passenger lifts off like a Targa top. Looks great lol it easy to put together

2008 JKU Fastback Hardtop

Top is for my black, 2008 JKU Rubicon. I bought it in September of 2021 and it took about 3 week to receive it. Top was packaged very well with the back glass and targa top wrapped and boxed with care. Top was fastened tightly to the crate and there was not a scratch on any item. Instructions were very clear and as expected and the installation was fairly easy with a few tugs and hard pushes to get some of the holes to line up.

Top finish looks good except a paint run under the DV8 badge on one side. I did show a DV8 representative a SEMA a picture and they will look for any flaws in the future.

I have had this top for five months during a very wet winter in the pacific northwest. The gap at the front of the targa top will hold water and when I jump in it will drip on me and the inside door panel. Other then that it does not leak like the soft top or factory hard top. The rear hatch leaks. still trying to figure out exactly where. The carpet panel below the rear window fills with water and when you open the hatch you get dripped on. The jack compartment also fills with water.

Overall I really like the top. Very quiet going down the road. It seems to be built very solid and does not move wobble or oil can as you are going down the road. I would buy it again.
